Today is September 12, 2022. Happy Monday everybody! Yesterday’s full episode explored all of the individuals in the Vallow Daybell case. I would recommend that anyone first showing interest in this case, could listen to that episode first.
Yesterday’s true crime trivia question was “Sharon Tate, a victim of the Manson family, was married to which director?” The answer is Roman Polanski. He is a French-born holocaust survivor and has directed multiple movies. Polansky is currently wanted by the American government for charges of sexual assault. He was convicted of sex crimes but when he learned that the judge was going to give him prison time, he fled to Paris. He lives in exile, mainly in France, and does not go to countries that have an extradition treaty with the U.S. government. Charles Manson was not directly involved in the murder of his wife.

This Week Begins Week 9 of the Kristen Smart Trial
It is now week 9 of the State vs. Flores and Flores. I have been listening to all of the episodes of his podcast “Your Own Backyard”. Paul is accused of murdering Kristen Smart and his father Ruben is accused of being an accessory. Though it is the same trial and witnesses, each accused has a separate jury.
One of the things that I thought of, is why not have two separate juries in the Vallow Daybell case, because they are being tried together. Also, there is a lot of circumstantial evidence in this case and no body. Paul Flores is accused of murdering Kristen Smart and his father is accused of helping him dispose of the body.
Vallow Daybell Updates for This Week
I have two reminders for you today. The first one is that the Netflix Documentary “Sins of Our Mother” is being released on Wednesday, September 14th. It is from the perspective of Colby Ryan, Lori Vallow’s only living child. The director is Sky Borgeman, who directed “Abducted In Plain Sight” and “The Girl in the Picture”. The Lori Vallow documentary consists of three episodes.
The second update I have for you is do not forget the hearing this week on September 15th, in regards to prohibiting cameras and live streaming of the hearings in the Vallow Daybell case. The public has the right to be witnesses in the trial. Once you prohibit the public from witnessing the legal process, there is no oversight of the legal system.

Aileen Wuornos Killed Her 6th Victim
Aileen Wuornos is a female serial killer from the United States. She killed at least 7 men between 1989 and 1990. On September 12, 1990, she murdered her 6th victim, Charles Richard “Dick” Humphries. He may have died on the 11th but his body was discovered on the 12th. He was a former U.S. Air Force Major and a former police chief. Aileen Wuornos was convicted to death and died by lethal injection on October 9, 2002. She is portrayed by Charlize Theron in the movie “Monster”. Fewer than 10% of women are murderers and the percentage of female serial killers is less than that.

What is Doxxing or Doxing?
Last week I mentioned doxxing or doxing, but I couldn’t remember what it was. Doxxing is taking someone’s personal public information and posing it online, usually with malicious intent. It is not illegal, because unless the information is hacked, it is not a crime.
