Today is our first podcast episode. After three takes, we finally, almost, figured it out. There is a bit of interference but I think we have found a solution that we’ll try next time. in a rural area, the internet isn’t always the most reliable. So here is our first episode that you can find wherever you listen to podcasts.

Hot Crime, Cold Coffee Episode 1: All About the Podcast

In this episode, we talk a little about us and what the podcast is going to be about, and who we are. Each podcast will include the following:

New regular episodes will be on Mondays and Fridays, and 15-minute daily episodes with will feature crime updates, trivia, and whatever else I can think of that’s true crime related.

In the coming weeks, we will be exploring in depth the Vallow/ Daybell case, with all of the twists and turns and hopefully, get you all caught up by January 2023, when the trial is currently scheduled to take place in Idaho. We’ll start by discussing who’s who, followed by the timeline of actual events through 2019, and then follow the case as it was updated in real-time since then.

Missing Person Spotlight: Ashley Loring HeavyRunner

Ashley Loring Heavyrunner has been missing from Browning, Mt, since June of 2017. Currently, there appear to be no leads. Montana currently has 48 missing Indigenous people, 28 of them are women, and 8 of those women have been missing for over a year.

Todays’ Crime Update/ Tidbit

Current Case Discussion: Vallow Daybell Case

It all started with two missing kids in November of 2019 in Idaho. This case spans four states, with at least 6 deaths, 4 murders, and at least 2 murder attempts. Lori Cox Vallow Daybell and Chad Daybell are currently facing multiple charges including the murder of Chad’s deceased wife Tammy Daybell and Lori’s children Tylee Ryan and JJ Vallow. Lori is also indicted in Arizona for the murder of her dead husband Charles Vallow.
